The Bulgarian Foundation for Business and Human Rights and the Polish Institute for Human Rights and Business are pleased to invite you to a joint webinar dedicated to the EU Regulation 2024/3015 that bans products linked to forced labour from the EU market and its practical implications for businesses.
The EU Forced Labour Regulation prohibits products made with forced labour from being placed on or made available in the EU market, regardless of where forced labour occurs in the supply chain. While primarily a trade measure, the Regulation has significant implications for how companies manage their supply chains and identify and address risks of labour exploitation.
As the Regulation moves towards full application in December 2027, and with the European Commission’s forthcoming guidelines and the designation of national competent authorities, businesses need to understand not only the legal framework but also its practical implications.
In this context, Bulgaria and Poland provide valuable examples of different systemic challenges—from labour migration and risks in subcontracting chains to limited institutional capacity and increasing cases of labour exploitation.
